Vi Balteum is gestart door studenten Jan Pruim en Rick van Der Goot binnen de minor Future Proof ondernemen. Zelf studeren zij Leisure and eventmanagement aan NHL Stenden Leeuwarden en Bedrijfskunde aan de Rijks Universiteit Groningen.
